Mind control. If you’re of a certain age, it’s a term that strikes terror into the heart. Much has been written on it in fiction, whether one person controlling another or someone using their mind to control their surroundings.

But don’t worry. This won’t be another piece on MK Ultra, the conspiracy theory surrounding the video game Polybius (though that in itself is an inspiration goldmine), or urban myths regarding telekinesis.
